IR-480

The Kasi IR-480 employs advanced infrared technology to heat existing asphalt pavement efficiently.

Within just 5 to 6 minutes, the pavement is sufficiently softened to allow for the application of pavement texturing. Extending the heating time to 7-9 minutes enables the asphalt to become workable up to a depth of 2 1/2 inches, without causing any damage to the structure.

Once softened, the existing asphalt can be recycled and, with the incorporation of asphalt emulsion or tack oil, restored to its pristine condition.

The IR-480 is perfectly suited for a wide range of permanent asphalt repairs, including fixing potholes, surface cracks, utility cuts, and trenches. It is also highly effective for installing pavement texturing, making it a versatile tool for maintaining and enhancing asphalt surfaces.
