Max EV LSV 2025 Model Updates
The MAX-EV continues to offer a market-leading standard Lithium-Ion offering. New battery pack size options now available with ranges that far exceed the industry standard for most electric utility vehicles. Up to 32kWh soon available.
Westward’s Lithium-ion batteries are now stackable, allowing for an easier plug and play interface. They now come standard with battery heating for cold climates controlled by the latest battery management system. The 12V accessory battery is now charged while the main battery is charging. Future supply includes battery packs made in Ohio.
Our previous lowest battery pack was 6kWh, providing an estimated max range of around 28-32 miles, our new base model features a brand new 8kWh Lithium-Ion battery pack, increasing the base range to an estimated 35-45 miles per charge.*

New S / L Wheelbase Option
We are now starting production of the Max-EV S. The S will become our standard option with a shorter wheelbase and 4ft deck. The size of the cargo deck will be 41″ wide by 48″ long. Our open cab base ORV vehicle MSRP is now starting at $18,250, excluding freight, local taxes and fees, USD.
The bed length of the Max-EV L is unchanged at 50″ x 60″ or 5ft long.
The shorter version allows the Max-EV S to be more agile, reduce material cost and reduce freight costs with 5 units fitting in one trailer.
Along with these new wheelbase options, Westward will be introducing a new drivetrain into production starting 2025. Made by a leading global automotive manufacturer, this new drivetrain will help improve costs while maintaining the Max-EV robust performance.
We are now offering a new 2 inch lift kit. Our previously standard electro-magnetic locking park brake, is now transitioning to an optional anti-roll away brake caliper system. The LSV is adopting a new, larger, ultra crisp color display. The ORV comes standard with a smaller color display. Diagnostics available on screen.
